Full job description
A career as a full stack developer in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team at National Bank is much more than just a developer role. It’s a unique opportunity to play a key role in our technological transformation and deliver exceptional value to our business partners through your passion for development, your DevOps experience, and your knowledge of AWS tools—particularly for intelligent document processing (AI capture).

Your Role:

Integrate AWS artificial intelligence services such as Textract and Bedrock, as well as custom models, to automate and enhance intelligent document processing in an ECM context.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, applying best practices in security and software development.
Optimize and deploy applications using CI/CD workflows.
Embrace an Everything-as-Code approach (infrastructure, configuration, deployment) with automated CI/CD pipelines triggered on every commit, all the way to production.
Automate testing for all developed components, as needed and appropriate.
Implement proactive monitoring of production applications with automated alerts and self-healing mechanisms.
Follow best practices to ensure high availability (HA) for all production deployments.
Your Team:

Within our department, you’ll be part of a team undergoing significant application evolution. Composed of several developers and analysts, the team is responsible for evolving the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems. We stand out for our energy, agility, and ability to tackle transformative technical challenges. Joining our team means becoming part of a collaborative and passionate community, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with business partners to develop, implement, support, and maintain a growing technological infrastructure.

This position offers the possibility of hybrid work (2 days per week in the office), supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a full stack developer role.
Experience in back-end development with Python and Java, including frameworks like Spring Boot for building robust and scalable APIs.
Experience in modern front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON) and frameworks like React.
Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, Aurora, RDS, S3, QuickSight, Security Groups, and API Gateway, with the ability to integrate them into serverless or hybrid architectures.
AWS Developer Associate certification is an asset.
Knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
Your benefits
In addition to competitive compensation, upon hiring you’ll be eligible for a wide range of flexible benefits to help promote your wellbeing and that of your family.
Health and wellness program, including many options
Flexible group insurance
Generous pension plan
Employee Share Ownership Plan
