Job Description

Our national Building Engineering team are looking for a technically strong Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team. You will be leading a wide variety of Building Services projects across key market sectors.

Please note that this role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Lead the design and delivery of sophisticated electrical engineering solutions across health, defence, transport, data centres, sports facilities, and other complex building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Act as the senior technical authority on major projects, providing expert review, guidance, and oversight of electrical design, installation strategies, and system integration.
Oversee multiple electrical projects concurrently, balancing technical rigor, program delivery, and client expectations to achieve successful outcomes.
Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into broader building services, offering technical insight on lighting, power distribution, fire and life safety, and low-voltage systems.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovative thinking, and professional development across the team.
