Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Engineering Leader to spearhead our engineering department. As the Senior Engineering Leader at Solvei8 you will be responsible for shaping our technical direction, strategy, and overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions. You will play a pivotal role in leading our engineering teams, promoting innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
Requirements:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of work experience in software development, systems architecture, and leadership/management roles within technology companies.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a history of roles such as Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and similar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in system architecture or high-level design, with a history of roles such as Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, etc.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to project or product management and managing teams, with positions like Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, etc.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and innovation.
• Experience in leading product development teams responsible for architecting and designing customer-facing products, features, or modules.
• Experience working in an early stage environment, in small/agile teams
• Technology Stack Experience: Java/Scala, Play Framework, Angular, PSQL, Mongo, Druid, Redis, Kafka, Flink.
• Experience working with microservice architecture
