Role & Responsibilities:
• Lead OMS team on the implementation of IBM Sterling OMS solutions for various ecommerce sites globally across brands and regions
• Act as Liaison between onsite, vendor and product management team during development cycle for regular updates and to ensure all requirements are met.
• Understand the goals of the organization in terms of requirement and overall value that supports our business
• Perform Proof-of-Concept projects to review design and solutions.
• Establish governance and best practices to measure and scale the quality of deliverables
• Identify area for automation and build set of reusable components
• Thrive for the continuous improvements on technologies and process surrounding the OMS space
• Manage and Mentor members of the OMS team and vendors
• Strong core java skill is required and build components around Sterling OMS using Java, Rest and SOAP web services.
• Ensure that NFRs like scalability, performance is met on the implemented solutions
• Troubleshooting issues, identifying problems, and analyzing potential software solutions including workaround as well as providing timely fixes.
Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
As an OMS Lead, with excellent technical and collaboration skills, this role will understand the importance rallying all stakeholders around OMS Solutions. This role will be managing the overall implementation of OMS solutions and will acts liaison between various internal and external teams. This role will ensure the quality & timeline on the deliverables are met. This role will manage OMS team in India, establish positive environment and add value to overall organization.

List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience on IBM Sterling OMS Implementation and integrations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in leading team on implementation of IBM Sterling OMS
• Completely understanding Sterling Commerce OMS application and its capabilities and limitations.
• Experience in customization of Sterling OMS APIs, database, UIs, user exits, agents and building services.
• Experience in packaging and deploying Sterling in CoC and on-premises environments
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from development perspective.
• Experience with Java development is mandatory and Understanding of SOA is required
• Experience in working with OMS Call Center and Store Engagement Application.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket
• Experience across all the phases of software development life cycle that includes requirement analysis, design, coding, testing and application maintenance.
• Experience with IBM Inventory Visibility is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple assignments by applying priority and adapt to changing technology environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
