What You’ll Be Doing...

• Establishing code review principles.
• Focusing on improving the performance of the application.
• Building robust flows for several Verizon value brands.
• Mentoring, coaching the team.
• Establishing the processes for Engineering excellence, and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For...
You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more experience in implementing Oracle Communication Charging and Billing products, particularly BRM and related products.
• Proven experience as a BRM developer with hands-on expertise in verifying solution integrity through POCs and prototypes.
• Involvement in at least one successful billing transformation project within the telecommunications domain.
• Ability to comprehend requirements and translate them into functional designs.
• Experience in designing price plans (products, discounts, charge share, etc.).
• Proficiency in converting business pricing scenarios into BRM pricing entities.
• Coding knowledge in Java, Golang, or Spring boot services.
• Use AI and ML to identify patterns in invoice disputes and compare contract details with invoice charges for discrepancy detection.
• Develop and customize Oracle BRM applications, including opcode development and configuration for rating, invoicing, and discounts, using PL/SQL and Java.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and stability of the BRM system, tuning it to handle high-volume data processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the BRM system and with AI integrations, ensuring data integrity.
• Work with business analysts and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver AI-powered billing solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience as an Architect or Senior Designer on at least one large-scale billing transformation or greenfield implementation project.
• Hands-on experience with core BRM modules, including Subscription Management, Rating & Discounting, Billing & Invoicing, Payments, and Collections.
• Experience with BRM customizations using C, Java, and other related technologies.
• Deep domain expertise in the telecom industry, specifically in Billing and Revenue Management (BRM)
• Deep knowledge of Oracle BRM architecture and components (e.g., BRM 7.5, BRM 12, BRM Cloud Native).
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing BRM, including PDC and ECE.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• A master’s degree.
• Experience triaging/handling high pressure customer end user/requests.
• Experience with performance tuning, scalability and availability.
• Experience in a DevOps software development environment.
• Experience migrating web applications to Cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud or Cloud Foundry etc.)
