What would you do here?
As Principal Performance Engineer utilize your collaborative skills to work with Development, QA and DevOps to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of applications.
Provide E2E Performance engineering solutions for various applications/projects.
Ability to develop, design, execute performance tests using locust and understanding of workload models.
Identity and troubleshoot performance issues in collaboration with architecture and development teams.
Perform root cause analysis and drive issues to appropriate resolutions.
Improve the reliability and repeatability of performance testing.
Triage reported performance issues and translate them into reproducible test scenarios.
Collaborate with DevOps and application engineering teams to design and execute production scenarios that will assess code and 3rd party performance.
Work with various sub teams to ensure SLA of their core APIs are tracked and maintained release over release.
Application and architecture code profiling.
Infrastructure and application performance tuning.
Communication - Clearly conveys information and ideas both verbally and written.
What are we looking for?
Strong Java development skills with APIs running inside EKS container in a cloud environment (preferably on AWS)Experience with JVM monitoring, GC tuning and diagnostic for optimal application performance.
Good knowledge of performance troubleshooting using heap dumps and thread dumps.
Experience with performance analysis/troubleshooting while providing solutions to optimize application
