We’re supporting a fast-moving Space business developing next-generation orbital systems and mission-critical technologies.
They are looking for a Principal Flight Software Engineer to lead the architecture, development, integration, and validation of core flight software systems across the full lifecycle from concept through to flight operations.
The role will involve:
• Flight software architecture
• GNC, telemetry & fault management systems
• Embedded real-time software development
• Hardware/software integration
• Simulation and mission testing environments
• Technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams
Ideal background:
• 7+ years in aerospace, spaceflight, robotics, or mission-critical systems
• Strong C/C++ expertise
• Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux systems
• Flight software or spacecraft systems experience
• Strong systems thinking and technical leadership capability
