As a Principal Frontend Engineer, you will lead and shape the future of our web ecosystem by designing and implementing innovative frontend solutions. Our team embraces modern practices such as vibe coding and harnesses generative AI to enhance and streamline our processes and workflows. You will work collaboratively with agile development teams, contributing to the strategic technical direction and ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies and methodologies. In this role, you'll serve as a bridge between various stakeholders, including product management and production engineering, to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications.
So, what will you be doing?
Architecting frontend solutions by designing and developing scalable, maintainable architectures using modern frameworks like React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring frontend development teams to adhere to best practices.
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align frontend solutions with business goals and customer needs for a cohesive product experience.
Exploring and prototyping new technologies and methodologies, including generative AI, to assess benefits and long-term viability for the web ecosystem.
Establishing and enforcing coding standards, design patterns, and development practices to enhance code quality and maintainability.
Identifying and implementing performance improvements for fast, responsive, and accessible web applications.
Managing the entire development lifecycle from initial concept through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact projects.
And what are we looking for?
Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js, and understand web performance and optimization techniques.
Design and implement complex frontend architectures and integrations that enhance user experience and product functionality, delivering B2C web applications with ++.++% availability.
Lead technical teams, foster a culture of continuous learning, and manage cross-team collaborations effectively, driving initiatives from conception to production.
Align technical decisions with business objectives and customer requirements, focusing on long-term sustainability and scalability.
Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various organizational levels, leading geographically distributed teams with cultural sensitivity.
Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies, including AI, to drive innovation within the web development ecosystem.
