Job Description
Here’s what you’ll do:
Deliver: Technically lead flood hydrological assessments which are assisting the design of flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments or the preparation of Environment Agency flood maps. Technically review reports documenting hydrological assessments.
Quality: Keep up-to-date with developments in legislation and guidelines that may affect our services and share them with the team. Apply industry standard guidance (FEH) to derive flood flows estimations for a range of catchment types throughout England.
Collaboration: Build relationships with clients and across other technical disciplines. Support the wider Water Team in business development activities for a wide range of clients on national and international projects.
Support: Mentor staff within the team in hydrological estimation to support their professional development
Lead: Represent AECOM at conferences to showcase our expertise. Drive innovation within the team to deliver our projects efficiently and right first-time. Be an active member of our national community of hydrologists and hydraulic modellers.
