About the Role (your why)

CONTRACTORS - START 2026 ON THE FRONT FOOT - AUCKLAND ONLY FOR THIS PROJECT

Focus: AI Innovation & Micro Frontends
As we move into the new financial year, our software development team is launching a suite of AI-accelerated projects. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer who is a UI specialist at heart—someone obsessed with the craft of the user interface and dedicated to building seamless, intuitive experiences for our AI tools.
While this is a fullstack role requiring robust C#/.NET expertise, your primary impact will be felt on the frontend. You will be a key player in transitioning our architecture toward Micro Frontends (MFE) to ensure our AI features are modular, scalable, and high-performing.

What You'll Be Doing:Key Responsibilities:
Technical Strategy: Define the architectural roadmap for our AI initiatives, focusing on scalability through Micro Frontends.
Leading from the Front: Act as the subject-matter expert for React and C#/.NET, setting the gold standard for code quality and UI performance.
AI Delivery: Oversee the technical delivery of AI-powered features, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into our existing ecosystem.
Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution, communicating complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Growth: Build a high-performing software development culture through technical coaching, architectural reviews, and talent development.
Key Skills:
Frontend: Extensive experience with React and modern state management. Proven experience with Micro Frontends (MFE) is highly desirable.
Backend: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (or .NET 6/7/8), including Web API and Entity Framework.
Database: Experience with SQL Server and designing efficient schemas for data-heavy applications.
Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Azure or AWS and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Mentorship: A natural ability to mentor junior developers and advocate for clean code and UI best practices.
