An excellent opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired EPC oil and gas MNC’s company based in their India office in the Chennai. They are dealing in EPC oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical and fertilizer projects.
The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and having 12 + years’ experience in Process design (Pre-FEED , FEED , Basic & Detail Engineering).
Brief Description
Principal / Senior Principal Process Engineer Should be from MNC’s in Design Engineering of EPC Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refinery industry. Should be a team leader and individual contributor.
The major responsibilities are:
• Plan, coordinate and supervise process engineering activities
• Review, Prepare/ check work output of the assigned personnel
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality at work
• Identify and resolve engineering issues which are critical for project schedule
• Execution of significant design/engineering task with minimum supervision ( concept, Basic Design, FEED, Detailed design )
• Supervise junior process engineers if required
• Experience in the use of technical softwares HYSYS, PRO II, ASPEN PLUS, FLARESIM, FLARENET ETC
• Experience in preparation of various process deliverables : design basis, PFD ,P&ID, generation of PDS, process calculations, design of offsites and utilities
• Interaction with Clients, engineering disciplines and projects as required
• Good knowledge of major industry codes and standards( both local and international)
• Participation in vendor meetings and vendor documents review.
• Participation in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL studies
• Participation in other engineering dept related reviews – Plot plan, 3D model, FAT, Constructability etc
• Proposal activities
• Training session to GET, External presentations and University interaction activities
• Commissioning and startup, PGTR of process plants
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
• Should be a graduate Engineer (Chemical / Petrochemical ) from a recognized university
• Minimum 15+ years of work experience in EPC engineering Refinery / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong influencing, communication and facilitative skills
