ROLE OBJECTIVE
To drive user engagement, connection, and retention by building and evolving a vibrant, scalable community platform that empowers retail investors to build a long-term stock portfolio.

COMMUNITY
Retail investors seek more than just quantitative data; they want authentic insights and perspectives from fellow investors. You’ll shape our Community to deliver compelling, user-generated content that helps both novice and experienced investors make informed decisions. This will differentiate our core Portfolio offering by pioneering a new approach, Narrative-Based Investing.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Community team is a cross-functional team working to deliver the Community vision. You will report to the founder and work closely with the Community Triad (Engineering Manager, Designer, Yourself). You will work collaboratively with engineering and design to define and guide product execution.

The Simply Wall St team is a fully remote team with core hours between +.30 am - 4 pm AEST.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the strategic vision and roadmap for the community product, aligning it with company goals around user growth, engagement, and retention.

Create self-sustaining growth loops that amplify user acquisition, deepen engagement, and enhance retention.

Lead a cross-functional squad of designers, engineers, and analysts to deliver high-impact features that enable meaningful community interactions.

Deeply understand user behaviour and community dynamics, using qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform decisions.

Define and track success metrics related to community health, such as active participation, contributions, sentiment, and retention.

Stay ahead of trends in community platforms, social products, and digital engagement, and translate those into actionable opportunities.
