Job Description
elttam is looking for a Principal Security Consultant located in or willing to relocate to Melbourne, Victoria. This is primarily a remote position, with occasional short-term on-site requirements.
This position is responsible for performing security auditing and adversarial simulation services for our clients in a principal capacity, as well as producing and delivering high-quality reports detailing and explaining security findings, outcomes, and recommendations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Principal Security Consultant at elttam, you will:
Perform security auditing and adversarial simulation services for our clients.
Write comprehensive technical reports detailing and explaining security findings, outcomes, and recommendations.
Attend and participate in meetings with our clients, including presenting and discussing security findings.
Contribute to internal research, engineering, and business development activities.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science, other relevant degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience is ideal. Candidates should have at least ten years of technical consulting experience.
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience working as a Security Consultant in at least a senior capacity.
Experience working with clients in various industries, including aviation, automotive, medical, and defense.
Skills to conduct security-focused source code, network, and design reviews.
R&D skills to contribute to internal tooling and vulnerability research projects.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience performing embedded device assessments and/or adversarial simulation-style assessments (e.g., red/purple teaming).
