Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI & Full Stack Engineer to lead AI-driven innovations. You will own the tech vision, strategy, and road map of the AI product lines, and will play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge AI solutions into our products along with developing computational infrastructure to support AI operations in-house and with vendor(s). Your work will directly impact lakhs of students across India by empowering them through AI-enabled chatbots and progressive web application (PWA).
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions, including chatbots on WhatsApp.
Seamlessly integrate OpenAI, Gemini, Google cloud APIs and other open-source technologies to create user-centric solutions.
Process student submissions with AI to generate real-time content and insights on our Progressive Web App (PWA).
Identify the right technologies and infrastructure to use that will be cost effective while being robust, fast and scalable
Design and implement robust data pipelines and processing frameworks to support WhatsApp chatbot and AI-enabled applications.
Develop and enhance AI-enabled features within our Progressive Web App to improve user engagement and experience.
Collaborate with the product and UX teams to create intuitive interfaces for AI-driven features.
Work closely with the curriculum, product, and engineering teams to align AI solutions with the organization's vision and impact goals.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture by mentoring team members and sharing expertise.
Follow a test, learn, and iterate approach to problem-solving, delivering high-quality solutions with emphasis on speed and quality.
Experiment with emerging technologies to drive innovation and position as a leader in AI-driven education solutions.
To rock this role, you should have:
Expertise in integrating and fine-tuning LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, AI4Bharat, open source models like Hugging Face).
Expertise in AI-powered tools from Google Cloud and other platforms.
General awareness of what is happening in the AI world with the ability to identify the right tools for the right problem at hand and the ability to learn any new technologies quickly
Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python and databases like mysql, BigQuery, MongoDB
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines for deploying scalable and reliable solutions
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Familiarity with software quality assurance, test planning, and test-driven development.
Able to lead, influence, and work well with cross-functional teams to uncover, craft captivating and compelling stories. You should be able to inspire, motivate, and empower others.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
6-12 years of professional full-stack development experience managing and launching scalable and modular b2c mobile applications that have achieved customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
At least 2 years of experience in using AI technologies and tools with a proven track record of building and deploying innovative AI driven solutions
A bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates who studied in Tier 2 / Tier 3 / Tier 4 towns will be preferred.
