Job Summary

As Full Stack Developer at EXFO, you'll build software platforms using a range of different technologies. You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the organization the Principal Developer is actively involved in designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable software components & services.
• Overall accountability for technical implementation aspects of projects, including planning, architecture, design, development, and testing.
• Participate in peer design reviews, code reviews, and testing to ensure quality releases.
• Responsible for defining and implementing project and technical road maps that align with the strategy.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications (Web Applications, Microservices, APIs, etc.)

Technical Skills
• Extensive experience in working with both front- and back-end technologies.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end technologies (like C#, Java, and Python) and JavaScript frameworks (like Node.JS, Svelte, Angular, React, and Vue).
• Knowledge of databases (like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and time management skills
• Experience in coaching and mentoring other developers.
• You're curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud software concepts such as microservices, container, serverless, CI / CD
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, etc.
• Exposure to Telecom domain preferred.

Must Have

Pertinent Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in Software Development.

Education: Minimum Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Post-graduation in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
