We seek hands-on engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems using Cloud Technologies across various software engineering domains: distributed systems, data pipelines, data management, analytics and AI/ML, identity, security, and observability. This is a unique opportunity to design and build new analytics applications utilizing OCI technology.
As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will lead the design and development of data-centric applications, leveraging AI/ML models to provide enhanced insights to our clients. Ownership is key to our culture, so you will be expected to think long-term, mentor fellow engineers, and drive projects to completion. As a tech lead, you will manage the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), covering architecture, development, testing, monitoring, and production.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain a SaaS application utilizing OCI Services.
• Propose and make architectural decisions for the SaaS application using OCI Services such as OAC.
• Oversee the alignment with Oracle Health Analytics (OHA) onboarding requirements for new applications.
• Ensure that security is integrated into all solutions.
• Develop high-performing, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure for reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Maintain compliance with existing Oracle infrastructure requirements.
• Identify and implement new capabilities in the application.
• Ensure systems are healthy and performant.
• Automate infrastructure deployment processes.
• Define and lead efforts to update operational systems to align with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively using your technical expertise.
• Employ AI-assisted coding and development tools to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Must be a US Citizen to qualify for Federal Security clearance.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Analytics (OAC) development and UX principles.
• Performance analysis and tuning experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Proven track record in building and supporting scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure on public cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coding with Java.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Data Engineering architecture and services, including Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Integration, Data Flow, and Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with telemetry, observability, and analytics tools such as ELK, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with git-based repositories.
• A strong desire to make a positive impact and thrive in collaborative, dynamic environments. Possess excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts through both verbal and design means.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure, including Semantic Modeling, OAC development, Security, and Automation.

• Active Federal clearance.
• Customer-facing experience in UX design.
• Experience with AI/ML implementations.
• Familiarity with Oracle OCI services.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare sector.
• Experience with Prometheus, AlertManager, and Grafana.

Compensation
Hiring range in USD: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. Eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan with company match, flexible vacation time, paid parental leave, and more.
