About the Role
A software development professional with a strong foundation in C programming language should possess a solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts, system-level programming, and application development. The ideal candidate must be analytical, have an aptitude for learning and exploring/implementing libraries, and be able to communicate effectively.
You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, libraries, and modules using the C programming language. Additionally, you will write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code, optimize existing C code for performance and memory management, and troubleshoot software bugs and performance issues using debugging tools like GDB or Valgrind.

Key Responsibilities
As a software development professional, you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing efficient, modular, and reusable C-based solutions.
Writing unit tests and integration tests for C-based applications.
Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Maintaining existing codebase by fixing bugs, implementing updates, and improving performance.
Performing regular code refactoring to improve code quality.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
4+ years of experience in C and C++ programming & development.
Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field. Any relevant certifications are preferred.
Deep knowledge of C syntax, memory management, data structures, algorithms, and GCC.
Experience with pointers, dynamic memory allocation, file handling, regex, sftp, etc. in C.
Experience in using system / static / dynamic libraries linking & implementing in C.
Good understanding of operating system internals, such as processes, threads, scheduling, and memory management.
Experience with multi-threading and synchronization mechanisms in C.
Strong debugging skills using tools like GDB, and experience with profiling tools to analyze performance bottlenecks.
