Principal Software Engineer
Location: Leeds
Permanent role – Hybrid Working Model
£60,000 - £65,000 + bonus and benefits
Harrington Starr has partnered with a global information management services firm seeking to hire a seasoned Lead Engineer to join their development team based in Leeds. The role offers the opportunity to Lead the development and maintenance of products utilised by customers and clients across financial services and requires someone with demonstrable technical leadership experience and hands on development utilising the Microsoft technology stack.
Key responsibilities:
• Technical leadership and direction with global teams to build and maintain integral products and services
• Key interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Hands on development utilising Microsoft technologies
• Collaborating utilising Agile working practices
Key skills:
• Expert commercial C#, .Net experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Good experience with SQL Server, and Visual Basic
• Strong technical leadership skills, mentoring and guiding junior developers
Benefits:
• Base salary up to £65,000 based on experience
• The opportunity to lead a strong existing development team, providing technical leadership whilst remaining hands on with development of integral business products
• Brilliant benefits package inclusive of bonus, pension and generous holiday allowance
• Flexible hybrid working model, 2 days in office 3 days working from home
