What You Will Do
We currently have an opening for a Principal Software Engineer at our development office in Bangalore, India. The Lead Software Engineer reports to the Software Applications Engineering Manager. As an integral member of the Development team, the Lead Software Engineer works with the technical team to design and implement Software applications.
Job Responsibility
• Evaluate, Design, and Implement software solutions to solve engineering and architectural design problems.
• Hands on development of the software and provide technical guidance/mentoring to other SW Engineers
• Strong in Architectural concepts and technology stack (frontend or back end)
• Collaborate with product management to gather functional and non-functional requirements for new software applications.
• Work with project team to plan, analyze and estimate project timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvements within the agile software development process.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders and be accountable to each other to achieve the project’s vision.
• Effectively communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (SRE, Cybersecurity, testing) for committed PI objectives
• Establish technical standards for developing and testing software.
• Improve performance of existing software.
• Recommend tech upgrades to applications.
Qualification And Skills
• A Bachelor’s degree or master’s in Computer Science Engineering, or related fields.
• 10 plus years’ experience with Strong Knowledge and hands on in C#, Python, .NET Core, .NET Web API, Micro Services and Microsoft Azure. (PaaS)
• Expert knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure or similar cloud computing platforms.
• Overseeing and managing technical aspects of software
• Experience in working with containerization platform like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
• Experience on frontend Development Skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular)
• Working experience in Git
• Communicate well with team members and other stakeholders with diverse background.
• Ability to work in Safe-Agile following Azure DevOps best practices.
• Build systems which are scalable, reliable, and highly available
• Self-motivated and driven to be successful.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We expect you to have worked in complex live projects and be capable of applying learnings from the same.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices.
• Knowledge on front end unit testing (Jasmine testing framework
