Job Description
This is a backend engineering position with some front-end work in an exclusively Microsoft/.NET/Azure ecosystem.
Please do not apply if you are proficient in other ecosystems, say, Java or Oracle but have not most recently worked in C#/Microsoft SQL Server for at least 4-5 years.
You will work at the cutting edge of .NET technologies, bringing the products forward continually to use newer technologies as Microsoft stabilizes them.
Required qualifications:
Demonstrated C# proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core environments.
SQL Server, with a solid understanding of Entity Framework.
Expertise in administering Azure DevOps servers with Git-based version control in a Microsoft ecosystem.
Developing REST APIs for the ASP.NET Core environments.
Authoring and maintaining technical notes and specifications.
Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.
Ability to adapt to working in small teams (2-5 members) with dynamic schedules.
Demonstrable experience or proficiency working with Claude (Anthropic) as a development tool, including prompt engineering and integrating AI-assisted workflows into a software development lifecycle.
Work authorization.
Other desirable proficiencies:
PowerShell scripting.
Azure DevOps administration.
Agile, test-driven development methodology.
SQLite expertise.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
