Description
UKG is looking to hire a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer for one of our HRSD Team. You will work within a global and distributed team to develop quality software aligned with product and company objectives; and take part in building one of our next generation platform products.

The right candidate will have experience both in hands-on software development or systems engineering, as well as exposure to diagnosing and communicating about difficult problems in either engineering or production environments. This role will require a significant breadth of both technical and non-technical skills, and a creative, driven, and motivational attitude. You will be responsible for the technical leadership of the Product development Engineering team, a global team developing and delivering on a vision to proactively/reactively manage UKG product development, maintenance, resiliency, performance, and improvement in our products and our ability to own end-to-end delivery from engineering perspective. You will be a key collaborator, leader, and influencer within UKG engineering culture, improving product and process equally to increase customer satisfaction.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

Work with our development team in charge of forms at HRSD, develop new features, participate in maintenance activities to effectively deliver against our roadmap.
Work closely with other development teams to ensure successful implementation of applications.
Work in an agile team environment with other developers, Leads, architects, designers, product managers, business analysts and the user community to gather and validate business requirements.
Drive architecture and software improvement through interaction with architects, engineers, and operations, including requirements definition and technical design reviews.
Translate specifications and requirements into functional application code.
Mentor more junior developers to ensure high quality deliverable.
Demonstrate focus on quality (unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing) and product support ownership...
Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Skills:
8+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript and related web technologies
4+ years using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Ember.js)
3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead working on front-end developments
Exposure to Cloud migration preferably in Google Cloud Platform

Preferred Skills:
Experience in Java and JS framework
Experience using Ember.js
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices preferred.
Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM) preferred
Experience using Jenkins
Experience in Python
