Mastercard Foundry is Mastercards global Research and Development division, focused on the evolution of technological and consumer trends and the implication of these evolutions on the payments industry. Our tried, tested and proven methodologies enable us to generate new ideas from a variety of sources, and fast-track the best ideas from concept through prototype, pilot and into commercialization faster than ever before.
Mastercard Foundry India is focused on leveraging innovative technology to drive wide scale growth of payment technology in India.
The Mastercard Foundry team in India will leverage proven Mastercard Foundry innovation methodologies to ideate and accelerate meaningful innovation and bring to market breakthrough payment solutions that scale quickly and prove sustainable for the business in terms of technology architecture/execution and business model.
Role
In this role, you will be a key member of a highly agile commercialization team of engineers within the global network of Mastercard Labs, working to accelerate innovative payment solution for India

The job offers opportunities to commercialize innovative payment/commerce solutions, experiment with cutting edge technologies and develop prototype/pilot projects
Design, build and launch robust, flexible, scalable solutions focused on driving wide scale growth of payments and commerce technology in India.
Coordinate the successful hand-over documentation and processes post project completion
Share knowledge of various technologies to other team members; Mentor junior developers
Ensure all services can be readily published as APIs on the Mastercard Developers platform
Keep up to date on technology trends and assess relevance in the payments space
Be a champion for technological innovation inside Mastercard
