Position: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Dubai (Suitable for candidates who are willing to relocate to the United Arab Emirates Immediately)
Job Summary:
To insource development work, integrate systems, provide rapid turnaround of minor enhancements, and new innovation experiments and solutions.
Job Specification:
• Serve as technical point of contact on engagements.
• Educate and validate solutions as appropriate throughout the life of the software or service.
• Accountable for technical decision-making, defining successful outcomes, and owning software engineering execution in the team.
• Develop business cases for investments to drive improvements in metrics.
• Build automation to support software development and data analytics initiatives.
• Create, maintain and track designs (at high and detailed design level) with issue resolution.
• Identify new/emerging technologies for adoption, drive consistent code reviews.
• Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates.
• Work with other software, testing, support and platform teams to direct priorities and ensure successful execution.
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
Job Requirements:
• 8 years IT experience, with 5 years relevant experience to role.
• Adept with IOS or Android development via native programming languages.
• Practiced with APIs and Microservices.
• Skilled with methodologies like – SDLC, Environment Management, Software Management, Agile, DevOps, Platform Engineering.
• Capable of working with a range of mobile and backend operating systems, clouds, mobile and microservice frameworks
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or engineering
