Roles & Responsibilities :
• Lead the software design-development and testing initiatives.
• Estimate engineering effort during multiple stages of product life cycle
• Set-up toolchains and integration frameworks needed throughout the PDLC
• Be responsible for end-to-end development architecture, thus ensuring the code written to implement the architecture and design meets the highest standards regarding code quality and efficiency.
• Establish clean code and clean architecture principles for software development
• Be ready to explore, learn and develop required skills on-the-job as per the projects need.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs.
• Must demonstrate good judgement and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technical realities.
• Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly regarding accessibility, usability and emerging technologies with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
• Foster teamwork and show commitment to team objectives, promote collaboration and remove obstacles.
• Own the product and take complete responsibility for the software quality.
• Produce technical documentation including specifications, design documents, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
• 5-8 years overall Software experience and 4+ years of technical leadership experience
• Bachelor of Science/Technology Degree in Computer Science or relevant field only from tier I/II institutes.
• Knowledge in JavaScript/MEAN, Node, Mongodb, Angular, AWS, Jenkins, GIT, highly scalable cloud-based systems architecture/ big data framework, multitenant service-based architecture, enterprise application architectures as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and commercial constraints.
• Passionate about technology and consistently seeking out innovative ways to solve problems, detail oriented; methodical; adaptable; highly motivated and self-managed.
• Team player attitude with good leadership qualities.
• Strong analytical skills, prior exposure to IoT platforms, networks.
• Experience with test-driven development, setting up CI/CD tools, release management
• Strong presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in leadership positions.
• Great interpersonal skills and can motivate teams to follow his or her vision.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Result oriented.
• Must have a go-getter attitude.
