Job Summary:
As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge products, following the best software development practices. We're seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional who can lead the creation of large-scale distributed applications using the latest enterprise tech stack and contribute to technology decisions. Your responsibilities include assessing operational feasibility, defining solutions, documenting processes, conducting systems analysis, and enhancing operations. You'll actively participate in Agile meetings, take ownership of critical processes, and provide guidance to fellow engineers.
• Requirements:
• Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science Engineering.
• Experience: Over 12 years of hands-on programming experience.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in .Net Framework/.Net Core, data engineering, web UI frameworks, and databases (Azure SQL Server or NoSQL databases). You're adept at working with structured and unstructured data, delivering value through data and AI projects, and possess a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• API and Cloud Skills: You have experience with RESTful services, API gateway security, and various Azure Cloud Services (Web app, Function app, Service Fabric).
• Enterprise Tech Stack: Familiarity with Big Data/Data Lake, ELK, Load Balancing, Distributed Caching, Data Partitioning, Scalability, Microservices, Containerization, Application Monitoring, Throttling & Rate Limiting, Disaster Recovery, and Azure resource optimization.
• Testing and Tools: Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) Frameworks, Load, Stress, and Performance Testing, as well as proficiency in source control technologies like Git/Azure DevOps.
• Methodologies: Exposure to Scrum methodology, CI/CD, and Artifactory Server.
• Bonus Points: Familiarity with Docker-based containerized applications, a quick learner of new technologies, and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a product-based company and domain knowledge.
