Microsoft’s Intelligence Platform engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like Power BI, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer. We will bring the world’s data to the Microsoft Cloud, power a new class of data first applications, and empower everyone on the planet to make better decisions with data.

Data Integration. The goal of the data integration team is to build data gravity on the Microsoft Cloud. Massive volumes of data are generated – not just from transactional systems of record, but also from the world around us. A lot of customer data is managed through Microsoft products and services – both cloud and on-premises. Our data integration products – Azure Data Factory and Power Query will make it easy for customers to bring in, clean, shape, and join data, to extract intelligence.
Analytics. We provide a range of products that enable data engineers and data scientists to extract intelligence from all data – structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. We are in the process of integrating our disparate products into Azure Synapse Analytics with a set of experiences that are meant to simplify and accelerate time to value.
Messaging. Modern cloud platforms provide robust messaging services to connect applications, connect IOT devices to the cloud, and observe events as they happen in the real world. Through Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Event Grid, Microsoft provides a robust set of messaging capabilities that enable modern applications to understand and react to what is happening right now.
Search. Every person on the web uses search as the primary entry point for finding information. Azure Cognitive Search delivers state-of-the-art capabilities to help developers deliver similary rich search experiences in their own applications.
Business Intelligence. The working population on the planet is over 3 billion people. Our opportunity with Power BI is to empower everyone to make better decisions with data - starting with the 300 million information workers using Office 365.

We are looking for passionate people with experiences working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.
