Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of C++ software developers in Bangalore.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in C++, with experience working in distributed environments and a good understanding of Agile methodologies. You will be expected to provide technical direction and support to the development team, ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, and encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Your key responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, and managing a team of C++ software developers, conducting performance reviews, and recommending pay actions. You will also oversee the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust testing and code review processes.
You will work closely with Product Managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and align development efforts with business goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
