As a Print Designer, you will play a crucial role in the creation, enhancement, and management of print artwork for our clothing line. You will be responsible for a range of tasks that involve working with both existing and original artwork, ensuring that our designs are ready for production and maintain our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create Original Artwork: Generate original artwork, both by hand-painting and digital painting, to support our product design needs.
• Re-color Prints for Accounts: Adapt and modify existing prints to meet the requirements of various accounts and clients while maintaining the integrity of the design.
• Send Final Production Prints to Vendors: Collaborate with the production team to send finalized print artwork to vendors when required.
• Recolor Artwork for CAD and Presentation Purposes: Transform and adjust artwork to suit CAD presentations and other design-related requirements.
• Artwork Repeats: Skillfully create seamless and visually appealing repeats of artwork.
• Artwork Separation: Apply color separation techniques for screen printing, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the final prints.
• Factory-Ready Artwork: Develop comprehensive artwork files that are ready for production, including color specifications, repeat patterns, and scaling information.
• Communication and Meetings: Once fully trained, collaborate with the TUKA and IT teams, and actively participate in print studio meetings, working closely with the design team to align project goals and progress.
• File Management: Create, save, and organize JPEG files, saving them in the appropriate artwork folders for easy retrieval.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Minimum1-2 years of experience in apparel print design
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design software
• Excellent understanding of fashion trends and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
