The Role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Probate Practitioner to join our specialist firm. The role will include obtaining Grants of Probate and assisting and advising on complex cases that are managed by the team. This is a full-time opportunity and will be 37.5 hours per week, working from home and occasionally at our offices based on Doddington Road in Lincoln.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of probate law and the administration of estates, providing expert guidance on complex cases with full administrative support. You will have experience of working independently and managing your own case load though the position will mainly require you to focus on the extraction process.

Duties

Prepare and file necessary legal documents with the relevant court and HMRC.

Assist in the administration of estates providing advice and guidance to other team members.

Manage timelines and deadlines associated with probate proceedings.

Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the probate process.

Skills

Qualified Solicitor or probate practitioner

Strong knowledge of probate law and estate administration procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.

Exceptional organisational skills, with attention to detail in managing documentation and deadlines.

Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with clients during challenging times.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary range of £40,000-£50,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
