Job Title: Private Client Solicitors Location: Multiple Sites Across Scotland Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for dedicated Private Client Solicitors to provide expert legal advice across multiple sites in Scotland. You will manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and executries, ensuring the highest standard of client care. Key Responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration. Provide personalized legal advice and tailored solutions to clients, ensuring complex legal terms and processes are explained clearly. Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and executory documents. Support clients with probate and the administration of estates. Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on trust and discretion. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies. Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide holistic legal services. Contribute to business development and help grow the Private Client practice. Key Requirements: Scottish Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Private Client law. Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, tax planning, and executry matters. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients during difficult times. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
