Movement Laboratory and Papaya Clinic are two clinics with the same team in the heart of Inner West.
We have a team of 25, clinicians, admin and support staff included. Our clinical team consists of physios, acupuncturists, naturopaths, and Pilates instructors. We treat musculoskeletal, dance and pelvic health conditions.
Your role is pivotal to our clinics success.

Leichhardt clinic is 7 years old and specialises in Musculoskeletal, Dance, and Women's and Men's health physiotherapy, whilst Papaya Clinic is 2 years old and a Multidisciplinary clinic for Women's Healthcare.
We have a growth mindset and are progressive and innovative. We embrace change and constantly look for ways to improve our service delivery.
The Position
We currently run 80 weekly 1:3 Studio Pilates classes in the Leichhardt clinic, and we're looking for a like-minded individual to join us as a Physiotherapist for a full time case load, or Pilates instructor to take over a minimum of 3 shifts (12-15 classes) per week.
You are either...
1. An experienced Pilates Instructor who has taught in clinical setting and is skilled at working with a wide variety of clients, including pre and postnatal women, immunocompromised, injured and in rehab population, and elite athletes.
2. An MSK Physiotherapist who wants a 30hours+ caseload in teaching and treating.
A Great Candidate
Is excited about our mission and is passionate about improving healthcare delivery, literacy and accessibility in the community
Is not just about reps and sets and following a training program when instructing your class. In fact, we do not have set programs for our patients in classes.
Is capable of teaching classes with flow, depth and quality instruction, over high-energy workout type classes.
Is trained with or has full diploma with either Stott/ BASI/ Polestar/ PilatesITC
Values truthful, direct feedback, even when it can feel uncomfortable
What We Offer
Compensation range of $40-48 per hour + super +leave + CPD for part time positions + generous bonus between 45-55% depending on roles and responsibilities.

Requirement
For Pilates instructors - Monday AM, Thurs AM, Fri AM, Sat AM shifts. Minimum 2 shifts.
