Job Description
Kuhn and Kuhn Law Firm is hiring a Probate Attorney in Charleston SC with a minimum of 5 years just Probate experience (must be the past 5 years exclusively practicing in Probate law and Probate cases in the Charleston Tri-County area (preferably Charleston County). The lawyer does NOT NEEED TO BE practicing Probate litigation. The attorney DOES need to be practicing with just Probate clients every day for the past 5 years, and billing the clients monthly. You can use your own billing software - and bring your own billing software that you like.
The Probate Attorney needs to be working with the Probate clerks and handling lots of Probate files and Probate cases for lots of just Probate clients. We are looking for an attorney who has worked on at least 20 new Probate cases every year for the past 5 years, or more. However, we will bring in the Probate business. So, you do not have to bring in clients. We have lots of Probate Clients waiting for our law firm to hire an exclusively Probate attorney.
The new Probate Attorney will work closely with the Head Partner of the law firm, Augusta "Shea" Kuhn and with the new Planning Attorney, Jonathan Weeks. We need an attorney with lots of Charleston area Probate experience because we are not going to train you. You need to come fully prepared to Practice Probate in Charleston because you have the experience. We will probably pay you $5,000 more annual salary than your current salary because we need an excellent Probate attorney for all our awaiting Probate clients.
You will be working with 2 young (in their 20s and 30s), enthusiastic paralegals, whom we have trained from scratch and who already love working with our clients (and will love helping you everyday)! We have lots of client and staff parking in our own quaint offices on Savannah Highway. We also have lots of clients who need an actual Probate attorney with sufficient experience to work entirely on their own and handle all our Probate clients - with staff help, of course. We all work as a team at Kuhn and Kuhn Law Firm and we need a good, experienced, Probate Attorney.
