Responsibilities:
Develop and implement process improvements, monitor process capability, and conduct product performance assessments using statistical analysis and process optimization tools and methodologies.
Lead Root Cause Analysis activities to solve technical, quality, or safety concerns.
Improve manufacturing capacity and cost.
Develop and implement production trials to resolve challenges and improve finished product characteristics.
Work with operators and process technicians to develop, improve and monitor key processes and procedures.
Assist in writing standard work documents, job aids, and operator training programs.
Work cross functionally to assist with the planning, installation, start-up and performance validation of new equipment as well as maintain existing equipment.
Lead capital and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Industrial, Pulp and Paper, Electrical or Mechanical or Chemical
>2 years manufacturing experience
Leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Lean Six Sigma
