Role Overview
FinacPlus is seeking a Process Leader – Property Accounting (Yardi Voyager) to manage end to-end property accounting operations for U.S.-based real estate portfolios. This role is execution-focused and requires strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, vendor management, bank reconciliation, and tax reporting, with deep expertise in Yardi Voyager.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of working closely with onshore property management teams in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
• Manage full-cycle invoice processing, including invoices received via email, mail, and online portals (e.g., utility portals)
• Ensure accurate GL coding and obtain required property management approvals
• Execute weekly payment runs via ACH and checks
• Record manual payments including wires and EFTs
• Prepare and share weekly invoice aging reports with accounting teams
Vendor Management
• Maintain vendor master data in Yardi Voyager
• Ensure W-9s are on file and vendor ACH/bank details are verified
• Support segregation of duties and internal controls, as required
Tax Reporting
• Support annual 1099 reporting and filing , ensuring vendor data accuracy and completeness
Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Generate and distribute monthly tenant rent invoices per property management procedures
• Apply daily tenant payments (checks, ACH, EFT) using bank feeds or manual entries
• Prepare and circulate AR aging reports on the 10th and 25th monthly for follow-ups
Other Accounting Responsibilities
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure Yardi Voyager cash balances match bank statements
• Prepare, update, and maintain Excel-based expense allocation schedules across multiple properties or legal entities
Qualifications & Experience
Required
• 3+ years of experience in property accounting, AP/AR, or real estate accounting roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager
• Solid understanding of U.S. property accounting processes and controls
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Availability to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
