About KOTH
King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. After a significant expansion, KOTH now features a 4.7 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant, providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately +00 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora, within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
Vault Minerals are currently seeking a suitably qualified Process Operators to join their Fixed Plant Processing Team.
This role will be offered on a FIFO or DIDO 2/2 Roster based at our King of the Hills Operation.
Point of hire: PERTH, WA
About The Role
Operating the plant and equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise the effectiveness of metallurgical production through effective usage of systems and procedures.
Practical operation of all processing plant equipment relating to: Crushing, grinding, leach and adsorption, elution circuit, tails storage facility, and gold room duties
Maximise return on assets through effective utilisation of those assets with due consideration of safety, people and environmental issues.
Identify and diagnose, where possible, items of plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
Assist Maintenance Technicians in the repair of equipment to ensure minimal impact on production.
Carry out minor maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in the safe and correct use of the following equipment - I.T Loader, Skid Steer, Gantry Crane & Tele-Hander
Monitor use of reagents.
Ensure production activities achieve maximum effective use of plant and equipment.
Productively participate as a member of the Metallurgy & Maintenance Services Team
About You
Demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in the following sections of the plant, in accordance with the current training manuals and task procedures:
Elution, Regeneration Kiln, Leach / Adsorption, Grinding, Reagents
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Computing skills in word processing, spread sheets and databases.
Valid C Class Driver’s license
Desirable
Sound knowledge of processing technologies and equipment
EWP
Forklift Licence
HR Licence
Senior First Aid Certificate
