Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Technician to join our team. This role requires flexibility as it includes working on day, swing, or grave shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operating, injection molding, and overhead crane operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and remove injection molds and related equipment for the operation of the molding machine.
- Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
- Place molds and other tools in assigned locations.
- Monitor cycle times and work on scrap reduction together with the production lead.
- Operate forklift and bridge crane when necessary.
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Communicate with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals.
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the expected standards.
- Adjust schedules and targets as needs or financing for the project change.
Essential Skills
- Experience with plastic injection, machine set up, machining, and mechanical repair.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Proficiency in computer skills, injection mold inspection, and cleanroom production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven project management experience, including building project briefs and timelines.
- Experience supervising and mentoring various levels of creatives.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, team-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fast learner with a passion for processes and multi-tasking.

Work Environment
The work environment requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and engage in standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling. There is a possibility of exposure to noise, uncontrolled temperatures, and chemicals. The night shift (11:00pm to 7:30am) includes a 10% shift differential. Currently, the team is working 6 days a week and averaging 8 hours of overtime per week.

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $83200.00/yr.
