Job Title: Part-Time Generative AI Principal Developer (Workshop Lead)
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)
Hours: +:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (Monday - Saturday)
Commitment: Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Generative AI Principal Developer to facilitate virtual project workshops for trained Master's-level students. The role involves creating, leading, and mentoring participants through real-world Generative AI projects, ensuring practical learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Workshop Development: Design project-based learning workshops covering core Generative AI applications like language models, AI-assisted search, chatbots, and more.
• Project Mentorship: Guide students through project development, offering technical assistance and best practices.
• Technical Coaching: Conduct live sessions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving exercises.
• Curriculum Enhancement: Continuously improve workshop materials based on participant feedback.
• Project Reviews: Evaluate project outcomes and provide constructive feedback for growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in Generative AI projects.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with:
• AI Models: Transformers, LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.)
• Frameworks & Tools: Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Data Skills: AI vector search, Postgres, SQLAlchemy
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in GenAI stack on AWS, Azure or GCP
• Mentorship Ability: Proven track record of mentoring developers or leading technical workshops.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with academic or professional AI project-based learning environments.
• Certifications in AI/ML-related disciplines.
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring in virtual learning settings.

You'll be responsible for:
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) and sterile manufacturing processes.
• Performing capacity calculations, equipment selection, and sizing to meet production goals.
• Developing plant equipment layout concepts, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Designing facility layouts that optimize workflow while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Preparing project design packages such as feasibility studies, Concept Design (CD), Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Design (DD).
• Reviewing and preparing qualification documents like DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, FAT/SAT protocols, and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with CGMP regulations (USFDA, EU CGMP, WHO, UKMHRA) and EHS requirements.
• Preparing for internal audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining complete documentation.
• Designing containment areas for potent compounds and biologics.
• Developing waste management and contamination control strategies.
• Troubleshooting process equipment in sterile and solid facilities.
• Providing process input to architects and cross-functional teams.
• Managing vendors and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses.
About You:
• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting (MUST HAVE)
• Proven process engineering experience in design consultancy or GMP manufacturing.
• Exposure to international projects in Europe and the U.S.
• Expertise in OSD, sterile, and biologics formulations.
• Strong knowledge of process calculations, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience preparing project documentation and plant layouts.
