Are you ready to contribute to a groundbreaking initiative? We are seeking individuals interested in working with streamlining a time-consuming task performed within the Chrome browser, specifically related to "Depth Correction" using our online proprietary geological software for QA/QC of geologic data. Key attributes we value include:
• Proficiency in Experience working with computer software
• Genuine interest in the field of Geology, Mining Engineering, or related fields
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Availability to work weekends and early in the mornings or late in the evenings as needed
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this entry-level role, you'll need the following skills and Qualifications:
• Recent graduate of Geology or a related discipline
• Experience with web-based data processing or QA/QC workflows
• Familiarity with geological concepts and terminology
• Previous experience in mineralogy or applied mineralogy is an asset
• Geotechnical and geological logging
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary team
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Capacity to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Proven experience in performing repetitive work
• Proficient in browser-based tasks, particularly using Chrome
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
