• Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiations, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Role Requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to define procurement needs and specifications.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for solar components.
• Obtain quotes, proposals, and bids from suppliers for project materials.
• Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing.
• Assist in managing procurement budgets and cost tracking.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to selected vendors.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to manage transportation and delivery logistics.
• Verify the quality and specifications of received materials.
• Support the resolution of procurement-related issues and challenges.
• Assist in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance.
• Assist in managing vendor performance and relationships.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and supplier capabilities.
• Adapt procurement strategies based on changing project requirements and constraints.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
