• Coordination : Coordination with Design team / projects team / Procurement for Understanding and analysing Architectural & Service drawings and involved in preparation of initial quote to sales team
• Product evaluation based on cost, quality & time of delivery, suggestion, recommendation and rejections.
• Understanding of 3rd part tests of strength, durability, acoustic, etc and capable of deriving the product technical specification and related costing.
• Understanding of furniture imports and various incoterms will be an added advantage.
Job Requirement
Candidate should have 4-5 year of experience from modular factory / furniture factory like sofa, wardrobes, chairs, loose furniture back ground, should have worked in planning department, procurement or project department of these factory based firms.
Eduction, BE civil or Mechanical degree from a reputed college
• Should understand wood works like hardwood, plywood, particle board, MDF board & soft boards. Should have basic knowledge in sheet metal, power coating, packing & logistic, fabric, glass, ABS, laminates, aluminium, hardware (ironmongery) like handles, locks, channels, edge banding, bushes etc
• Should understand the quality parameters like ISO, ISI, lean, Kaizen, poka-yoke and necessary process & procedures involved in developing quality systems.
• Should have understanding in sample board preparation, sample approval & alternates from architect, PMC, client.
• Should be able to understand GFC vs shop drawing, co-ordination for the preparation of should drawings with necessary stake holder.
• Should be able to take up independent assessment of production factories
