We are a Vehicle Intelligence & Analytics startup incubated at IIT Delhi working in the
sustainable and clean mobility space. Vecmocon is making the EV ecosystem smart, connected
and reliable by using its state-of-the-art solutions and data-centric approach, to drive the electric
mobility and clean energy revolution in India. We make electric vehicles primarily 2W and 3W
smart and connected using our IoT-enabled data analytics which helps EV players in making
key business decisions. Founded by the alumni of IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi and ISB, Vecmocon is
backed by the renowned VC investors – Tiger Global and Blume Ventures.

Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Identification and Qualification:
• Conduct thorough assessments of supplier capabilities, including quality, reliability, and capacity to meet our requirements.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of wire harness, casting of metals, and mechanical commodities.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Draft and review contracts/purchase order, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements
• Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Cost Analysis and Budget Management:
- Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize value while maintaining quality standards.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, minimize lead times, and mitigate risks
- Proactively identify and address potential supply chain disruptions, such as material shortages or transportation delays.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
Knowledge, Skills, & Technology Platform:
- Knowledge of ERP system.
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the electronics sector.
- Have hands on experience of zero-based costing of mechanical as well as wire harness parts.
- Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to conduct cost analysis and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with quality assurance principles and supply chain management best practices.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PPT and MS Word.
Knowledge of manufacturing process of metal casting, wire harness, powder coating, and fabrications.
