Role Requirement:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical/Electrical Procurement Executive to join our team. This role will play a vital part in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality mechanical and electrical components for [Company Name]'s projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in the procurement field.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Vendor Management:
- Identify, research, and evaluate potential suppliers of mechanical and electrical components.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Conduct thorough vendor qualification and assessment processes.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and cost parameters.
- Negotiation and Contracting:
- Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Draft and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Resolve any disputes or issues that arise with suppliers.
- Procurement Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for mechanical and electrical components.
- Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Track and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Cost Management and Optimization:
- Drive cost-effective procurement solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement.
- Implement strategies for inventory management and risk mitigation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding procurement progress and any potential challenges.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.
- Generate reports on procurement activity and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement of mechanical and electrical components.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience with ERP and procurement software systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
