Department: Projects / Supply Chain
Reporting To: Project Director / Head – Operations
Location: Kamothe, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 6–10 years (Interior Fit-Out / Turnkey Projects)
Job Summary
The Procurement Manager – Interior Turnkey Projects is responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, services, and subcontract works required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely availability of approved materials at optimal cost while maintaining quality, compliance, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities Project-Based Procurement
Plan and execute procurement as per project BOQs, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate with design, estimation, and project teams for material finalization
Manage procurement schedules aligned with project milestones
Materials & Categories
Civil & finishing materials (cement, gypsum, tiles, stone, paints, laminates)
Carpentry & modular furniture materials
Glass, aluminum, partitions, doors, hardware, and accessories
Electrical, lighting, HVAC, fire-fighting, and plumbing materials
Specialized items: acoustic panels, wall coverings, false ceiling systems
Vendor & Subcontractor Management
Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors and subcontractors
Finalize rate contracts and project-specific vendors
Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery timelines
Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality compliance
Cost Control & Commercials
Achieve cost optimization through negotiation and value engineering
Track procurement budgets vs. project estimates
Coordinate with accounts for PO issuance, GRNs, billing, and payments
Site Coordination & Logistics
Ensure just-in-time delivery of materials at site
Coordinate with site teams for unloading, storage, and issue of materials
Handle urgent and fast-track procurement requirements
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage RFQs, comparative statements, POs, and contracts
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory norms
Maintain procurement MIS and support internal/external audits
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials and vendors
Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills
Understanding of BOQs, drawings, and project execution workflows
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in ERP / procurement tools (SAP / Tally / Excel)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design / Management
Supply Chain / Procurement certification preferred

Vendor quality and delivery performance
Procurement cycle time
Reduction in project delays due to material issues
