Position: Procurement Officer

Job Description: -
• Work with internal operations staff to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
• Responsible for order placement timing, supply / demand alignment and material replenishment.
• Continuously keep up to date with supplier’s pricelist and negotiate to get the best possible price.
• Make and update selling price list based on the cost price and inform operations staff of any changes in the price.
• Work with clearing agents for all importations, ensuring all necessary documentation is done on time in order to complete the clearing process with any delay.
• Maintaining all necessary files, documentation and data.
• Plan and monitor regular stock take throughout all locations.
• Administration and reporting as necessary.
Requirements: -
• Previous experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role and who has experience in trading and distribution of Building Materials, Ceramics and sanitary ware, Cement industry, Tiles etc.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Business One as well as a logistics module in SAP B1 or any other software.
• Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications.
• In charge of all purchases, local + imports
