About the role
You will be part of the Procurement team, supporting the delivery of strong, consistent procurement and contract management practices across the organisation. Drawing on your 2-3 years' experience, you will work collaboratively with internal teams to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement policies, systems, and processes that enable effective service delivery and minimise risk.
You will play an important role in embedding best‑practice procurement and contracting across the commissioning cycle, supporting stakeholder engagement, building organisational capability, and contributing to meaningful improvements that support primary care and positive community health outcomes.

What will my typical week look like?
Partnering with project leads and business teams early to shape procurement approaches—understanding objectives, analysing the market, and guiding the best path to market using sound commercial and commissioning principles
Supporting end‑to‑end procurement and contract activities, ensuring compliance with probity, governance, and commissioning requirements.
Acting as a trusted advisor on procurement, contracts, and risk, helping teams navigate requirements with confidence.
Building capability across the organisation through practical support, guidance, and targeted training.
Collaborating with Finance, Risk, and Governance teams to ensure contracts, reporting, and audits meet regulatory and funding obligations. Maintaining accurate, procurement and contract records using systems such as Tenderlink and the Contract Management System and contributing to continuous improvement.
About you:
Two to three years' demonstrated experience in procurement, with relevant qualifications in procurement, contracts, legal, or business desirable; health sector experience will be highly regarded.
A solid understanding of contemporary procurement, contracts, and tendering, with the ability to apply sound commercial judgement.
Hands‑on experience delivering end‑to‑end procurement activities, including RFQs/RFTs, evaluations, recommendations, contract variations, and execution.
Strong knowledge of legal, probity, and compliance requirements, with experience managing contracts for goods, services, and consultancies.
Well‑organised with strong project management skills, able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a process‑driven environment.
A confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (e.g. CMS, Tenderlink, SharePoint, Adobe E-sign, DocuSign).
