ROLE:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for determining and leading strategic sourcing initiatives to maximize the value delivered to the business, with a heavy focus on IT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor’s degree with up to 7 years of total work experience in a procurement, of which at 3+ years of experience in an IT services and goods procurement.
• Experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting.
• High level understanding of IT infrastructure (data centers, servers, networks).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize challenges and find feasible solutions.
• Experience in analyzing financial data and creating financial forecasts and reports.
• Profound knowledge of Excel and analytics and reporting tools like Qlikview, Qliksense or similar.
• Strong command of English as a business language (verbal and written). Dutch is not required but is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead or participate in the negotiation and administration of contracts and pricing agreements and support the supplier selection processes in alignment with IT stakeholders.
• Evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors.
• Own the monthly reconciliation between SLA and invoices and credit notes and responsible for the optimization and automation of the internal procurement process from RFI to AP.
• Responsible for raising POs, registering contracts, asset tracking, support and warranty extensions and other operational duties.
• Projects work may include analyzing all data center related costs and make proposals on how to reduce the spend. (Spend Optimization)
