The Opportunity
Our MinRes Air team is seeking Procurement and Planning Manager to join our Engineering and Maintenance Operation.
The Procurement and Planning Manager is responsible for the efficient administration of the Store and Maintenance Planning functions. This includes ensuring compliant storage, procurement, and management of aeronautical products, tooling, and ground service equipment, in accordance with the MinRes Air MOE, P145 MOS, and related regulations governing a Part 145 Store Facility.
You will also play a key role for the efficient planning of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring parts, tooling and sufficient resources are available.
For this position you will be located at our MinRes Air Perth terminal office and reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Adhere to all MinRes Air, and Part 145 MOE policies, procedures and instructions with relation to this role
Maintain a working knowledge of CASR Part 145, the MOS and the MOE
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that the procedures related to the management of aeronautical products and tooling are properly documented and kept up to date
Efficiently manage aeronautical products, tooling, and ground service equipment to ensure compliance with the MinRes Air MOE.
Archiving of aeronautical product compliance documentation
Generate calibrated tooling reports to ensure compliance
Manage the calibration requirements of aircraft tooling including dispatch, receipt and archiving of calibration reports
Ensure that only approved suppliers are used to supply aeronautical products and tooling.
Ensure aeronautical products and tooling requiring maintenance (repair, overhaul etc) are dispatched to approved vendors with applicable repair documentation
Procurement, receipt and dispatch of aeronautical products and tooling on behalf of the AMO
Manage shelf-life limited items and generate reports in accordance with MOE procedures
Respond to items identified through internal and external audits
Stores administration functions including supplier communication.
Preparation, review and processing of work orders.
Compliance checks on completed work orders
Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all Store and Maintenance Planning procedures are reviewed and revised as necessary.
What is Required
Proven experience in a similar Procurement, Logistics and Maintenance Planning roles within the Aviation Industry.
Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft applications.
Proficient in the use of Logistics-based software.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Hold a valid motor vehicle driver’s licence

MinRes Air is the newly formed internal flights department providing air charter services from a dedicated MinRes Perth Terminal directly to our site operations, to support our Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) Operations.
MinRes Air will provide complete flight flexibility to respond to MinRes’ requirements to facilitate optimum staff rosters and additional flight capacity for construction and organic growth.
Dedicated aircraft fleet, terminals, ground handling and maintenance facilities (staged), all of which are controlled by MinRes Air and managed by MinRes to provide a complete end to end process.
