About the role
The Procurement Specialist – Process Management plays a key role in designing, maintaining and continuously improving V/Line’s procurement processes and supporting artefacts. The role supports the development of the Procurement Process Framework, including process maps, Quick Reference Guides, standard work instructions and other documentation. It partners closely with Procurement Managers, the Transformation team and cross‑functional stakeholders to simplify processes, drive adoption of procurement technologies (including Zycus), and embed consistent ways of working. The role also contributes to process automation initiatives, monitors procurement process performance and identifies opportunities to optimise workflows and strengthen controls.
About You
You bring a strong background in procurement operations and process management, with the capability to analyse, document and improve end‑to‑end workflows. You build effective relationships, communicate clearly and support transformation initiatives through practical, well‑structured process design.
Our ideal candidate will have:
5+ years’ experience in procurement roles with a focus on operations or process management
Proven ability to map, analyse and optimise procurement processes, identifying opportunities for simplification and improvement
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with a customer‑centric approach
Clear and effective communication skills, able to translate complex processes into accessible, practical documentation
Experience contributing to transformation and process adoption across diverse teams
Understanding of leading procurement practices and working knowledge of procurement systems
