Produce is the first impression of our store and a major driver of sales and basket size.
We are looking for a high performing Produce Manager who will both lead and work alongside their team to build a department that customers notice the moment they walk in.
This is a hands on leadership role with full commercial accountability.
The Role
You will own the Produce department end to end while remaining highly visible on the shop floor.
This includes:
Leading from the front during peak trade
Ordering, stock control, and availability discipline
Building abundant, fresh, shop worthy displays
Managing waste and protecting margin
Rostering and wage control
Developing and retaining your team
You will spend the majority of your time on the floor, not in the office.
What You Will Be Accountable For
Delivering strong sales growth
Driving contribution and trading profit performance
Protecting availability on top selling lines
Maintaining clean, abundant, high impact presentation
Managing wages responsibly while supporting peak trade
Building and developing a stable, high performing team
This is a genuine business leadership role within a 70 team member store.
