We’re now looking for a Produce Supervisor who enjoys working on the floor, supporting their team, and taking pride in fresh, high‑quality produce. This is a great opportunity to help establish strong standards in a brand‑new store, ensuring our produce department is fresh, full, and inviting from the moment we open our doors.
Te Tūranga – About the role
Help to oversee the daily operations of the produce department
Supervise and support the Produce team during evening operations
Ensure proper handling, rotation, and display of produce to maintain freshness and reduce waste
Train, support, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service
Maintain inventory levels to ensure full shelves for our community
Monitor and uphold food safety, cleanliness, and store standards
Interact with customers to deliver an excellent customer service experience
Create attractive displays and merchandising to maximize sales

Previous experience in produce or retail supervision preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of produce varieties, quality standards, and storage requirements
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
An eye for detail
Physically fit and able to lift produce crates/boxes
A proven high level of honesty and reliability
